About the team

The JOTI Team is a group of experienced and skilled volunteers whose interest is to help manage the bulk of volunteers [see Operators] who comes to run our channels over JOTA-JOTI.

They sift through the Volunteer Hub helping volunteers get vetted, assigned roles and granting access in channels so that these temporary JOTI volunteers can perform their service to the world.

Depending on their specific skills they can dedicate themselves to one of this roles.

Roles

Volunteers Supporter

• Vetting new volunteers over VH
• Assign roles [Supporter – Channel Operator] based on JOTI Coord set criteria
• Update VH status after HaTT process their training.
• Set flags for volunteers on channels for the roles they have been assigned

Senior Volunteer Supporter

• Vetting new volunteers over VH
• Assign roles [Supporter – Channel Operator] based on JOTI Coord set criteria
• Update VH status after HaTT process their training.
• Set flags for volunteers on channels for the roles they have been assigned
• Create channels necessary as approved by JOTI Coord
• Set channel Groups for the roles that volunteers will need to run channels.
• Appoint Temp IrcOp roles on VH according to JOTI Coord set criteria
