Agreement of previous months minutes.
Last meetings minutes agreed without dissention, i.e. nobody objects.

JOTI.
Things are a bit late, but making progress.
Botteam is making bots for #english channels.
Tempops are getting trained.
Schedule for #opers coordination is almost completed.
Channels are being formed.
What needs to de done is training people who can handle the bots.
Most is said by email and is sent out; not much response to it.
We have been prepared sooner then we are this year.
After tomorrow there will be no more training for tempops unless it will be announced by their CC/RC.
After this meeting Tita will send an email to tell CC/RC that they have to sent a list with all tempos and if CC/RC have checked that they have done the training.
All CC/RC’s need to response right away.
Adding tempops in the last weeks for access is really late!
All 26 UK op are trained.
#espanol and #portuguese have also plenty ops, but they are all from South America.
#english is still short of ops from Australia and U.S.A.
#scandinavian ops seems to be in control.
#dutch has about 25 ops.
#espanol has 33 ops, #portugues 2 ops , #english ( U.S.A. and Canada 9 ops.
Requests for list etc should be asked for from CC/RC’s.
#opers will be run by the JOTI-CO team with some extra coordinators. If you want to coordinate send an email to Tita.
All tempops should join #opers before they start their shift.
The two coordinators in the channel ( @ ) will tell them in which channel they can operate. Please let they do their jobs and do not interfere them by putting ops in channels or changing modes. Ask the coordinators first! Helping with kills and g lines is o.k.
All tempops will get an email from JOTI_CO with what they are expected to do.
Tita and Megalive will be in Denmark during JOTI at JCC-Scand. Tita has been asked by Megalive to be temp-techie. Tita is also planning to do some JOTA.
People are wondering if that is a good combination. During crisis on the network Tita will take control in #opers and #JCC to coordinate and make the network back to normal. Coordinator is in charge, but he can be overruled by 3 council members agreeing. A deputy counts as a council member during crisis.
We hope that if there are problems, it will be solved better then last year. Crashing the IRCD about 50 times during one night just to test was not very good last year.
Bot team will work with JOTI_CO and TTC during JOTI. After JOTI it will be discussed.

Temp IRC ops.
All temp IRC ops must be notified to council is that any comments can be made if necessary.
Then to TT for an o line. It also can be done in the same mail.

Sub domains.
TTC want to know what the basic rules are about sub domains ( A ). And also about email. What will we do with people who has their own mail server. ( B).
A. When is someone allowed to get a sub domain at a server ( I.e. webpage uk.scoutlink.net .
If webhosting is needed any CC/RC and Co can send an email to council list and TT for a request.
External requests will be mailed to council. Roger-uk and Radar will pass them on.
B. The current issue danscout told is about the fact that external mail severs could not be in control of council as it is in DNS. Anyone on the mail server can make a send/receive email and not notifying council or TT.
If we are to make a decision on this, TT should make a list of all external servers and their hosters in a way we can understand and make the recommendations with reasons. Then send a report to council so it can be discussed next meeting. Also about the sub domains.
For info TT should mail CC/RC.
Radar will send an email to TT about this and will ask for the report etc.

AOB ( emergencies items only ).
Space_NL would like to propose that people that are only in council to idle are to be noted as-not-present. It is not very nice to be waiting all the time for people who are not actually here.
