TTC.
TT has nominated megalive as TTC until after JOTI when they are either going to confirm or have to rethink and nominate him again or someone else.
Council have voted megalive to be TTC at least until after JOTI..
Carried unanimously.

New TT member: webrat.
Webrat has been asked to leave the meeting, until council has discussed and voted.
Webrat is proposed by megalive. There has not been a voting about it between TT members, only email, but nobody was against it
Council has voted for webrat to be TT member and ircop.
Carried with 1 abstain.

JOTI.
JOTI-CO is not present again. Tita had asked Clicks to be his deputy, but he is not present either.
Tita will send info by email.
Radar will send an email to council list and Tita to have a special JOTI meeting at the 27th of September 2008 at 14.00 hours GMT.
Grandpa cannot be present at that meeting.
All can send questions to Tita before that meeting. Then the meeting, hopefully wont take that long.
Temp-Ircops don’t need to be ratified by Council. The are temp-ircops so CC/RC’s can take care of that. Megalive will give CC/RC’s access to do so.
Like last year TT is working on the connection with JOTA-JOTI ( WOSM ) for nick registration. TTC have asked to have SL- = SL-something reserved for us for last minute bot registration etc.
Ircops training courses will be coordinated by Tucker. For information keep an eye on your email or you can email Tucker at tucker@scoutlink.net.
Tucker has said that he preferred if forthcoming operators are trained before they actually become operators. But to practice they do need an o-line, so that will not be possible to train first and then give an 0-line.
Megalive has been added to council list as TTC. Jacka has been removed from it.

New Ircop Mexico: shirma.
Anamartha has invited shirma to be ircop for Mexcio. He is an user since 1996, speaks English and is about 40 years old.
Council has voted for shirma to be ircop; carried unanimously.

Irc-CH Easter weekend 2009: see email at council list from Judy.
Switzerland will not be the cheapest Irc camp because everything is quite expensive there, but it is very beautiful there and worth it!!
Grandpa says it will be just 5 euro more expensive then last years Irc-DE. And he will not forget to send the badges from Irc-DE, probably even before Christmas.

Aciago: can we already start creating some JOTI channels? Yes all CC/RC’s can. Only channels which will be there longer then a month or permanent need permission from Council.
Grandpa: EEur has 2 pieces of information: 1. acid-vega has accepted the invitation to be his deputy. 2. Grandpa will not be present during JOTI ( unless I find a computer in USA or Canada and have spare time to come to Scoutlink then ).
Megalive: do temp-techies require a council agreement? No just inform council by email about who will be. Megalive will wait for a week after that email and when there are no objections it is ok.
Michele: Italty will need an #opers during JOTI. That is ok.
Saleiro: Who is the web team coordinator? Space_NL.
Scout-Bz: 1. I need to inform that I have created #manadas some months ago, but it will be changed into #encuentrodemanadas because JOTI is coming. 2. Some bots will be on and off line from the Spanish speaking community; robotina, Andres and condorito. Please do not kill them. 3. #espanol-juegos is the trivia channel for the Spanish speaking users.
Megalive reminds all that bots and full automatic scripts need to be ratified by TTC. Just send an email to teachteam@scoutlink.net . He hasn’t seen any requests from the Spanish speaking users yet.
Webrat: just some info; the website will be online very soon. The jabber chat will be tested after JOTI.
Hubcio: Wojo is going to be the Polish deputy. Can Wojo be ircop? Council has voted yes. Wojo is also in HATT ( helper and training team ).
