Agenda Topics

1. Website: AK-Eagle makes a motion to have the old minutes added to the new pages. Jabiru proposes that Council ask the webteam for a timetable for the completion of the webpages. Ellie asked if we can also reiterate to the webteam officially that techteam DO NEED login info for the cms system...not just two webteam people having it.

2.youth & youth team – Determined that the youth team need to rebuild themselves now. They have a core group and we should wait and see what they can do without INTERFERENCE please. It was noted that “if someone is banned by a channel team... you don't go crying to your mate the ircop to come kill or gline someone...you abide by the decision and appeal it through the right channels” – Agreed

New Business

Bot Team- Ellie advised that the bot team is well on way to developing bots for thinking day in February. They will be hosted in dk this year.Rae, baggy and his team are working together early to get them up and running. Ellie or baggy will inform theteam when they are coming online for testing.

Elections – reminder to follow up for elections should be on next months agenda.

Beluga

#dutch

Dutch is changing a bit. Meaning.. the way dutch is being managed. As I didn't want to take decisions for dutch myself or by consulting a few people I proposed to have dutch managed by a team.

This team will be formed by the chanops and ircops from #dutch.

You perhaps can say #dutch will have it's own council.. with /me still being co-ordinator, but no longer solely in charge.

The dutch team will meet once every 3 months.

What will be changing soon will be the number of ops and ircops. Due to the growing number (of members) #dutch will be having 6 chanops, 3 ircops and 1 co-ordinator in the future. The 2 global ops we always had will be eliminated.

Elections will be held next week.

No-use

#scandinavia

Scandinavia is very willing to help and give ideas to the global web.
#youth and #youth-team - Nea, Snus and Zleppy are Scandinavians, and I support them as qualified chanops and sane scouts

Teamspeak- Since I am not able to use "TeamSpeak" (they are racists - not supporting MacOS) I don't think it should be a place for entire Council to have meetings - BUT ... I think it is great to have a place, for Council members to "telephone" each other and have a TALK about stuff that is easier spoken than typed. And the server provided is (as far as I am told) a very SAFE one.

The Danes are working hard to make a web-café at the next huge national camp in Denmark ( http://www.blaasommer.dk/ ) and if someone has some experience they want to share with us - all help is appreciated please contact ODIN - either online; via memoserv or on mail odin@scoutLink.dk

?? Do you have some neat/pretty/cool flyers about ScoutLink we can use ??
We need it in English, so we can use it as it is and/or translate it into Danish. If some of you CC/RC's already did do some flyers there is no need for "my guys" to re-invent the whole thing.

#Czecho-Slovakian

I had written an email to Jan Havelka, who is my contact person to the Czech Rebublic and Slovakia. I had asked im if Scouts from those countries established a community. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Therefore, I hereby request the techteam to close #Czecho-Slovakian down (if needed, after ratification for this by council).

I will stay in contact with Jan, who would like to translate the web page into Czech; I will contact Stoffel on that point.
